All About Twin Pushchairs

Tako Duo-DriverShop - InfoPushchairs have been popular for around 200 years and they existed for about 100 years before that. In more recent years there have been a number of developments to make improvements to the basic buggy. They have been made far more comfortable for your child, which is good news for you too! A comfortable child is likely to be a happier child. There are also more variations than they used to be and double pushchairs are now readily available.  A pushchair is also something that has many different names depending on where you live. They are often known as a pram, buggy, stroller, baby carriage and occasionally pusher. By far the most common name though is pushchair.

A twin buggy is considered a must if you have 2 young children to push around on your own. It just isn’t practical for one person to push two normal pushchairs. Twin pushchairs have become far more practical in recent years and there are many different types available. If you have a newborn and a child maybe a year or two old you can get pushchairs that have 1 seated and 1 cot style section. The other option is for the 2 halves to be side by side or one in front of the other. It is nice for both you children to be able to sit next to each other in a side by side twin pushchair but it makes the pushchair quite wide. This can be impractical and if you are going shopping with the twin pushchair and it can make it difficult to navigate your way around the stores. A tandem twin push chair is no wider than a normal pushchair as your children sit one in front of the other, however obviously they are a little longer.
